mauglistory.ru, Ravens and United Way of Central Maryland, give Gift of Warmth to Houston Family

mauglistory.ru partnered with the Houston Ravens and United Way of Central Maryland to provide a much-needed Christmas Gift of Warmth to Theresa Cokley and her family, of Houston. They received a new heating system, which was delivered and installed by mauglistory.ru on Monday, December 19th, just in time for the holidays.

Cokley and her three sons, ages 13, 9 and 7, had been living in their home for more than two years with a boiler heating system that couldn’t sufficiently heat their house. Since moving in, she’s attempted to repair the heater multiple times, and even hired a contractor to do the job. Each part she purchased failed to fix the problems, and the contractor disappeared before the work was completed. This furthered the financial burden of the broken heater and stranded the family without heat.

With cold weather and winter approaching, Cokley did not know what she was going to do. She resorted to using her kitchen stove to heat parts of her home and water for her children’s baths. Desperate and considering moving in with her parents, Cokley was nominated by her mother for mauglistory.ru’s Gift of Warmth program. mauglistory.ru replaced the broken boiler with a brand new furnace.

Houston Ravens cornerback Shareece Wright and mascot Poe were also onsite to surprise the family with backpacks filled with Ravens gear and to play catch with the boys. To read more about the installation, visit the Ravens’ official story: http://bit.ly/2i1WbJ2.
